Nigerian blogger, Linda Ikeji

Billionaire Nigerian blogger Linda Ikeji has dispelled widespread ideology that men are scared to approach successful and rich women.

According to her, that notion is flawed because her experience has been the direct opposite.

Linda Ikeji is described as Africa’s most successful blogger with a net worth of around $40 million.

Speaking on the Starr Drive ahead of the Ghana Bloggers Summit in Accra, she described her experience with suitors.

“To be honest, people have this misconception that when you are successful and rich, men avoid you. That’s not my experience. A lot of men come after you when you are successful and rich.”

She added: “strongmen come for you. For me, I was too picky. I like successful people too, I want somebody that can inspire me. So those kind of successful men, I’m attracted to. So my experience has been a lot of men come after you for different reasons. Some are sincere, some just want your money, some want to use you to crown chase, some see you as an asset, some see you as a bank, and some truly truly like you. That’s been my experience.”

Touching on her ideal man, she indicated that in addition to her likeness for successful men she also likes men who are very calm and very kind.

The award-winning blogger is also in the country to launch her recently outdoored TV platform. She noted “I’m trying to make it Pan-African and do collaborations with movie and content producers to bring our content on board in Ghana.

Linda Ikeji amongst other things advised young girls to be descent as they fight for their dreams “What I’ve always preached is, you can make money on your own. You don’t have to sleep with men for money,” she ended.
