Goran Barjaktarevic hails ‘important’ victory against Bechem

Head coach of Legon Cities Goran Barjaktarevic has expressed his excitement over the ‘important’ win against Bechem United in the ongoing Ghana Premier League on Friday evening.

Having endured a difficult start to the league, Legon Cities collected their first win in the campaign thanks to Abdul Karim Jabila’s 4th minute free-kick goal.

The result moved the Royals to 12th on the standings with 6 six points after six round of games.

During his match presser, coach Barjaktarevic could not hide his delight over the outcome of the match, claiming it’s an important win.

“We won. The most important thing. Game over. See you in our next game. Thanks to our fans for the support,” Barjaktarevic said.

The Bosnian-German tactician believes the three points have taken a weight off his players chests after their poor start in the league.

“Take the pressure off. Let the boys enjoy their win and the first three points.”
